Sorts out the characteristics and applicability of the three energy saving measurement and verification methods given in the current standards and guidelines at home and abroad. Emphatically analyses the correlation factors for determining the energy saving amount. According to the energy consumption composition of air conditioning systems, combined with different energy saving retrofitting measures, divides the energy correlation factors into three categories: outdoor weather condition, human behavior and indoor thermal environment demand. Taking an actual project as an example, calculates the energy savings using the similar daily comparison method. Points out that it is not comprehensive to use daily average outdoor air temperature as a single indicator when applying the similar day method. The similar day comparison method only considers the energy saving effect under a certain load rate. Based on this, proposes an improved method that considering various load rates, and presents the applicability of the two calculation methods, providing references for energy saving measurement and verification.
